Many times, those who are new to yoga, fail to understand the importance of yogic props. They are at a loss about why and how these props are used and what is the long-term utility. This is where this retreats can be an excellent starting point.

About the Yoga Retreat

The retreat covers learning some of the selected poses of Ashtanga Vinyasa primary series based on learning Iyengar yoga alignment methods and techniques. The main focus of the training will be on how to practice with correct alignment in asana, on key alignment points, breathing techniques and pranayama, increasing body awareness, learning relaxation techniques and meditation styles. During this yoga retreat, the asanas will be covered from the preliminary Iyengar yoga book covering standing poses, sitting poses, forward extensions, lateral extensions, inversions, abdominal asanas, backward extensions, sun salutations, restorative asanas, and Ujjayi pranayama.

After completion of this retreat, you will receive a certificate in 30-hour Pre-TTC, which will also enable you to enter into the 200-hour yoga teacher training course. The course is organized every Monday to Friday. Your accommodation will be allocated from Sunday and check-out will be at 11 AM on Saturday morning.

The participants need no previous experience in yoga or meditation. You will be able to deepen your yoga practice, learn how to practice using props, get meditation techniques on how to be balanced and more aware of your emotions.
